There are more than 1.25 cr people in India who are a victim of visual impairment..M.P. Welfare Association for blind [MPWAB] , Indore has the sole aim of working for comprehensive rehabilitation of persons who are visually impaired. Since its inception in 1961.
They provide education,food and boarding facilities to more than 100 blind students from class 1 to class 10 completely free of cost at Hellen Keller Academy at Indore.
They provide vocational training and other skills along with boarding and food to another 65 youth to make them self-dependent who can earn for themselves.
